Notice Regarding the Use of Electronic Surveillance System
Dear Guests,
We hereby inform you that Mrs. Lászlóné Rimán, as the data controller, operates an electronic surveillance system (CCTV) at the guesthouse named Tókert Vendégház, located at 9941 Őriszentpéter, Baksa szer 13. The electronic surveillance system of the accommodation is managed by Mrs. Lászlóné Rimán.
Please be informed that the recording, use, and storage of image and sound recordings are governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (April 27, 2016) — General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC — as well as Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information.
The electronic surveillance system is operated as detailed below for the purpose of protecting human life, physical integrity, and property; preventing and detecting legal violations and accidents; apprehending offenders; and proving violations.
Legal basis of data processing: the legitimate interest of Tókert Vendégház to achieve the above objectives [GDPR Article 6(1)(f)].
Scope of processed data: the image and behavior of guests visible on the recordings.
The current camera images may be accessed exclusively by Mrs. Lászlóné Rimán.
Access to stored recordings from the surveillance system operated by Tókert Vendégház is granted solely to authorized persons for the purpose of proving violations against human life, physical integrity, or property, identifying offenders, and investigating events or accidents affecting life or bodily safety.
Data transfer is possible only in case of ongoing procedures related to unlawful behavior or breach of obligations, to the authorities or courts conducting such procedures. The transferred data may include relevant recordings made by the camera system and names of persons potentially appearing on the recordings.
Affected individuals whose rights or legitimate interests are impacted by the recording may request copies of the recordings concerning them, as well as request deletion in accordance with applicable legal provisions. Furthermore, within 3 working days from the recording, affected individuals may request, with proof of their right or legitimate interest, that the data not be destroyed or deleted by Tókert Vendégház.
You are also entitled to request information at any time from Tókert Vendégház regarding the processing of your personal data. You may also request correction or blocking of your personal data in accordance with applicable laws. Additionally, you may object to the processing of your personal data.
In case of violation of your rights, you may seek remedy in court according to relevant laws. Moreover, anyone may initiate an investigation with the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, claiming a violation or direct risk related to personal data processing.
Areas monitored by cameras (according to the number of cameras):
I. Cameras covering the area of the guesthouse’s external entrance, aimed at protecting the property of vehicles parked in front of the gate.
II. The garden of the guesthouse. The primary purpose of surveillance here is to protect the guesthouse’s assets, equipment, and supplies.
